In the heart of Junee, this impressive building was originally built in 1878. In 1911 the owner of the time commissioned architect William Monks to design a new Art Nouveau style hotel. The hotel features a stunning verandah that runs the length of the second floor of the Hotel, a public bar, lounge, pool room, bistro, function room, spacious beer garden.

Bethungra Dam Free Camping

If you’re after a spot of fishing and a picturesque location to set up camp, then head to Bethungra Dam and Reserve. Camping is free, and the beautiful scenery will not disappoint. The scenic public recreation area accommodates canoeing, sailing, picnics, swimming and fishing. Visitors can make use of the camping facilities, as well as toilets, barbecues and bins.

Access is via Bethungra Waterworks Road located just outside the village of Bethungra, off the Olympic Highway.

Sandy Beach Reserve
